Cheryl Cartier, manager of the Quinnipiac University bookstore, organized a collection drive to benefit about 50 Hamden residents who were displaced by a fire at a Hamden apartment complex.

Quinnipiac University is doing its part to help the victims of a Valentine’s Day fire in Hamden.

The donations will benefit the at least 50 people forced from their homes when a fire tore through an apartment complex.
