Professional Award Winners Represent the “Best of the Best” in 2026
After receiving creative submissions inspired by the spirit of North Haven, the Collaborative has selected a group of finalists and now it’s time for the community to weigh in.
This donation ensures that every firefighter on duty will have access to a new mattress, marking the first full replacement of station mattresses since the new firehouse was built 11 years ago.

Lee is a professor in the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education and Human Development at New York University. Her research areas include science education, language and culture, and teacher education.

Williams was one of the early founders of CARICOM, an organization made up of 20 Caribbean nations to promote economic and political integration and cooperation among members.

In North Haven, the students helped out at the Girl Scouts, Animal Haven Inc. and Pet Smart.

The institutional survey, which numbered more than 200 questions, covered topics from academic offerings and admission requirements to data about currently enrolled students and graduates’ employment.
The 2019 Fall Leaf Collection Program will begin the week of Nov. 4.

Those who attend will tour the center and learn about the law school’s academic program and how the faculty works closely with students to develop a course of study that matches their goals.

The event begins November 1st and runs through November 29th with a drop off ceremony on Saturday, November 30th.

Along with discussing health disparities among Native Americans, Bissonnette will cover the ethnobotanicals and their traditional uses, and the importance of history and culture in public health programming.

Altmann is coming to Quinnipiac as part of Echoes and Reflections, a program that provides Holocaust and genocide education in Connecticut.

Sponsored by the People’s United Center for Women and Business at Quinnipiac University and the Women Presidents’ Educational Organization, this event also will celebrate Women Entrepreneurship Week, which runs from Oct. 19-26.
Cindy Kern, assistant teaching professor of education, said the event will include teachers from Bridgeport, CREC, Danbury, Guilford, Meriden, Milford, New Haven, Notre Dame-West Haven, Stratford, Tolland, the University of Connecticut and West Haven.
QPR training deals with the prevention of suicide by teaching ordinary citizens how to recognize a mental health emergency and how to get a person at risk the help they need.
