Parents Oppose Busing Changes in North Haven

The Board of Education Thursday night received a petition signed by 236 people opposed to a new school bus schedule and want it tossed.

The petition was started on late Saturday night by elementary school parent Dyann Vissicchio, who had heard from a number of parents that they were upset about a “two-tiered” bus schedule to be implemented for the 2012-13 school year. The new schedule changes the start time of North Haven Middle School to more closely align with North Haven High School’s, with middle and high school students riding the same buses.
