Residents voted to allow the North Haven Middle School Building Committee to move forward with plans for a “hybrid” option to renovate the school, vote a new committee and hire an architect.
Earlier this month, the committee voted on the option which would build a new classroom wing while maintaining other school facilities.
Such renovations would cost the town $46.9 million, with a state reimbursement rate of 39.64 percent.
