Superintendent Cronin’s follow-up phone call regarding the odor detected at Ridge Road Elementary School. The gas company determined the odor was coming from an outside valve and they have repaired the problem. Both the gas company and the fire department assure him that there are no concerns to continue on with the day as usual at school.

Below is Superintendent Cronin’s first message regarding an odor that was detected outside Ridge Road Elementary School this morning, letting parents know that both the gas company and the fire department were coming to check things out. The students were not in any danger.
