State Representative Dave Yaccarino (R–North Haven) joined community members on March 28 to celebrate a major milestone for Max Sinoway Little League, marking 75 years of service to local youth and families.
Since its founding, the league has played an important role in North Haven, offering young athletes the opportunity to participate in organized sports while learning essential life skills such as teamwork, discipline, and perseverance. Generations of residents have passed through the program, making it a lasting and meaningful part of the community.
To commemorate the occasion, Rep. Yaccarino presented a legislative citation recognizing the league’s decades-long commitment to youth development and its continued positive impact on North Haven.
“I congratulate Max Sinoway Little League on 75 incredible years,” said Rep. Yaccarino. “This league is deeply personal to me—I was a player here, I had the opportunity to coach, and all of my children have been part of this program. It has been a true pillar of our community for generations, bringing families together and shaping the lives of so many young people.”
The anniversary celebration highlighted not only the league’s history, but also the dedicated volunteers, coaches, and families who have helped sustain it over time. The presence of both current and former leaders reflected the strong foundation and continuity that have defined the organization for decades.
