On December 5th State Rep. Dave Yaccarino (R-87) and Incoming State Senate Republican Leader Len Fasano (R-34) met with North Haven residents at their monthly “Coffee with Your Legislators” event at McDonald’s on Washington Avenue.
The legislators answered constituents’ questions about the state’s projected budget deficit and addressed local issues.
“With the recent unveiling of our state’s projected budget deficit this month, providing our constituents with the truth is more important now than ever before – someone must be transparent and deliver the truth in a forthright way,” Rep. Yaccarino said. “We will continue to hold these monthly coffee hours because our most important role is to listen to our fellow citizens and then take action in Hartford.”
“I want to thank everyone who joined us this week with great questions that added to an important conversation,” Sen. Fasano said. “The most critical part of the legislative process is learning about what’s most important to fellow community members. This monthly event gives us a great opportunity to do just that.”
Coffee with Your Legislators is held on the first Friday of every month from 8:00am – 8:45am at McDonald’s, located at 129 Washington Avenue, North Haven.
