Sarah Croucher, executive director of NARAL Pro-Choice Connecticut, will discuss “The Future of Health Care in Connecticut,” on Thursday, April 6, from noon to 1 p.m. in the Center for Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences, MNH 244, at Quinnipiac University, 370 Bassett Road.
“This talk will summarize some of the threats to reproductive health care in Connecticut, including the way that federal policies may impact the state,” Croucher said. “There will be a summary of some legislation currently working its way through the Connecticut General Assembly, and action items that local medical students can take to support specific bills. I will discuss anti-choice politics in our state, and long-term threats to abortion access.”
This program is free and open to the public. It is sponsored by Doctors for America and Medical Students for Choice, two student interest groups at the Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine at Quinnipiac.
