A free clinic for new and returning In-Town Assistant Referees will be held on Thursday, August 7th from 6:45 to 7:45pm in the North Haven Recreation Center Gym on 7 Linsley Street. This clinic is intended for non-certified youth and adults that would like to be Assistant Referees for our U-10 In-Town program this Fall. Games are held on Saturday in the early afternoon. The clinic will cover basic topics on Assistant Referee responsibilities, which include proper conduct and mechanics, and proper use of the flag. For the “Laws of the Game” and “Guide to Procedures” visit ctreferee.net and ussoccer.com.
To be eligible you must be at least 12 years old. It is strongly recommended that you attend this session in order to be contacted this season.
Zach Tabak will be the instructor. Please come a few minutes early to sign in, and bring flags if you have them.
