The first-ever Music Bingo fundraiser hosted by the North Haven Education Foundation (NHEF) drew some knowledgable players, who knew their Maren Morris from their Taylor Swift songs and were a challenge to stump.
Emcee Anthony Apuzzo played snippets of songs and the bingo participants — who ranged from elementary schoolers to seniors — scanned their cards for the artist names in the hopes of getting all the squares across, down, or diagonally. That’s Music Bingo!
A portion of the profits from the fundraiser went to the Culinary Arts program, which provided a diverse menu during the Feb. 27 bingo evening held in the Middle School cafeteria. In March, members of the NHEF board — from left Dorothy Logan, chair of creativity grants, and treasurer Patricia Brown — presented a check to student Chloe Perito (third from left) and Traci Planinshek, at far right, an instructor in culinary arts and baking & pastry arts and the high school’s Family and Consumer Sciences (FACS) teacher.
Thank you to all who participated!
