State Sen. Paul Cicarella (R–34) on Jan. 29 presented a legislative citation honoring Planet Fitness at the grand opening of its new facility at 55 Washington Ave. in North Haven. He was joined by State Rep. Dave Yaccarino (R–North Haven) and North Haven First Selectman Michael Freda.
The citation, introduced by Sen. Cicarella and Rep. Yaccarino, recognizes Planet Fitness for its continued expansion and commitment to promoting health and wellness in the community.
“Planet Fitness is providing our community with a modern, welcoming space that encourages people of all fitness levels to prioritize their physical and mental well-being,” said Sen. Cicarella. “This new location reflects a strong investment in North Haven and offers residents accessible opportunities to lead healthier, more active lives.”

The General Assembly citation reads, in part:

The new, state-of-the-art facility offers a clean, judgment-free environment designed to support a wide range of fitness goals. Amenities include cardio and strength-training equipment, a 30-minute full-body express circuit, and the Black Card Spa®, among other features.
