State Representative Dave Yaccarino (R-North Haven) visited ACES Village School on Friday, October 16th and met with sixth, seventh and eighth grade students to discuss the importance of civic engagement as well as the role of a State Representative.
“I had the pleasure of meeting students from ACES Village School in North Haven,” said Rep. Yaccarino. “One of the biggest highlights of my role as a legislator has always been having the opportunity to learn more, up front and center, about our district schools through tours like these. Our young students truly inspire me to keep striving to do the most good for the most people.”
He continued, “The recent $103 million in new budget cuts would significantly impact our most vulnerable population and reduce critical funding that people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families so heavily rely on.”
