“League Info Night: Teen into Effective Citizen” to air on NHTV

“League Info Night: Teen into Effective Citizen,” a League of Women Votes of Hamden-North Haven sponsored panel on the state of civic health in Connecticut, is being broadcast until and including the week of 5/18/15 in North Haven on NHTV.

“League Info Night: Teen into Effective Citizen,” a League of Women Votes of Hamden-North Haven sponsored panel on the state of civic health in Connecticut, featured Secretary of the State Denise Merrill, immediate past president and member of the board of the National Council for Social Studies Stephen Armstrong, and Brendan O’Connor, social studies and civics teacher from Hamden High who impressed with his eloquence, love for teaching, and opinion about how teaching civics could be improved.

The event was held April 23 at Thornton Wilder Hall in the Miller Memorial Library.

This panel discussion is being broadcast until and including the week of 5/18/15 in North Haven on NHTV Channel 18 on Comcast and throughout Connecticut on Frontier U-Verse [formerly AT&T U-Verse] Channel 99. The weekly schedule is the same for both channels.
