The Quinnipiac University Physician Assistant Society will host the 15th annual “Run For Your Life” 5K Road Race and 14th annual “Cow Chip Bingo” starting at 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 13, at the North Haven Campus, 370 Bassett Road.
The USA Track & Field certified racecourse will be routed through the North Haven Campus. Awards will be given to the first, second and third place men and women in the following categories: youth, 20 years old and younger; open, 20-40 year olds; master, 40 to 60 year olds; and grand master, over 60. Walkers and runners are welcome. Online registration is at http://www.active.com.
Registration is $25. Registration starts at 8 a.m. on the day of the event, and the race begins at 9 a.m. A children’s fun run will begin at 10 a.m. The awards ceremony will be held at 10:30 a.m., followed by “Cow Chip Bingo” at 11 a.m.
Tickets for “Cow Chip Bingo” are available for $10. Cash prizes will be given to the first, second, and third place winners of bingo, and all participants can also enter a 50/50 raffle. The proceeds from the event will benefit the Quinnipiac Physician Assistant Student Society’s children’s literacy program and the Physician Assistant Foundation’s Caring for Communities program.
