“This is part of Quinnipiac’s Age-Friendly University initiative to foster conversations across ages and generations,” said Dr. Sheila Molony, professor of nursing at Quinnipiac. “Both younger and older adults have meaningful things to offer and want to be involved in living, learning, and contributing to their communities.”

Molony and Nicole Fidanza, clinical associate professor of occupational therapy at Quinnipiac, are among those organizing the series with colleagues from Central Connecticut State University, the Triangle Community Center, the Connecticut Healthy Living Collective and the LGBT Moveable Senior Center, a partnership among senior centers to provide a welcoming pathway for the LGBT senior community to access the centers’ programs and resources.

Molony is available for interviews in advance of the series. If you’re interested in speaking to her, please contact John Morgan, associate vice president for public relations, at 203-206-4449.
