For the third consecutive year, Quinnipiac has been named the top university in the United States for successful career placement following graduation by Zippia.com.

“Zippia’s ranking is an important one because it is based on the success of our graduates 10 years after graduation,” Provost Debra Liebowitz said. “Our market-aligned programs, excellent instruction and unparalleled applied learning opportunities clearly pay off for our graduates.”

Amanda Pendergrass, a 2020 graduate, works in inside sales as an Omnipod Associate at Insulet, an innovative medical device company based in Acton, Massachusetts. Pendergrass, a Boston resident, was not surprised by Quinnipiac’s Zippia ranking.

“Between my classes and the career development program at Quinnipiac, I was well prepared for entering the workforce,” said Pendergrass, who graduated from the School of Business with a bachelor’s degree in biomedical marketing. “Quinnipiac has had a profound impact on my career path.

“I absolutely love working for Insulet,” the Saratoga Springs, New York native added. “It has a great company culture, and I am doing exactly what I hoped to do after graduation. Quinnipiac’s biomedical marketing program is tailored very specifically to students who wanted to get involved in health care marketing or sales.”

The Zippia website, which offers users the tools to find the right career, examined data from the U.S. Department of Education College Scorecard to determine the college with the highest-listed job placement numbers 10 years after graduation in each state.

The site’s experts then sorted every college in the country from the highest employment levels to the lowest.

Quinnipiac’s 96.1% placement rate topped every other college in the country.

“With those kinds of odds, you’re liable to join the Bobcats on your road to employment,” Zippia said.
