ASAP Urgent Care to Help KC101’s 24th Annual “Stuff A Bus”

ASAP Urgent Care, with locations in Hamden, Madison, Milford, and North Haven, is teaming up with KC101 to help Stuff a Bus for the Connecticut Food Bank. Conveniently located adjacent to grocery stores, all ASAP clinics will serve as Stuff a Bus drop off points beginning on Monday, November 10, 2014. In addition, ASAP Urgent Care CEO Traver Hutchins has committed to matching the value of all food donations made to Stuff a Bus during ASAP’s sponsorship hours from 4:00-5:00 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, November 20 and 21, 2014.

“We’re thrilled to play a part in helping KC101 feed our neighbors this holiday season,” says ASAP CEO Traver Hutchins. “This is something we care so deeply about that we want to make it easy for those in other areas to help as well. That’s why we’re dedicating our clinics as drop off locations and we will match the value of donations made during our sponsorship time.”

Stuff a Bus needs both food and monetary donations as well as volunteers. Food donations should be nonperishable. Monetary donations can be made online or in person. In fact, according to KC101’s website, the Connecticut Food Bank can stretch just $5 into 17 meals. Stuff a Bus will be located in the Hamden Plaza at 2100 Dixwell Avenue in Hamden on Thursday and Friday, November 20 and 21, 2014, from 6:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m.
