North Haven Students Tour State Capitol with Local Legislators

Senator Len Fasano (R-34) and Representative Dave Yaccarino (R-87) met with a group of North Haven students from Green Acres Elementary School at the State Capitol yesterday. The trip was made possible thanks to a grant from Target Department Store. During their visit, the 4^th and 5^th grade students learned about the legislative process and how a bill becomes law. They also toured the Capitol and got an inside look at the floor of the state House of Representatives and state Senate.
