North Haven residents to decide whether to put more money in education at expense of higher tax rate

Push back from residents concerned with this year’s Board of Education budget has forced First Selectman Michael Freda to issue a mass call to residents to poll their opinions.

A robocall will go out Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. to 5,000 residents registered with the Registrars of Voters office, according to Freda.

“This is a very unusual year for us coming up, with back-to-back referendums,” Freda said.
