North Haven Soccer Club 2013 Summer Camp

[box]Pictured are the various NHSC summer camp age groups – from pre-school ‘Kickstarters’ to high school players – proudly displaying their yellow tie-died camp t-shirts emblazoned with a unique logo and ‘soccer’ in various languages. The players improved their skills and tactics in age appropriate groups while also developing their strength and conditioning. Most important of all…they had a lot of fun![/box]

Under the direction of Federico Fiondella, the North Haven Soccer Club recently held a tremendously successful summer camp entitled “Soccer – Uniting the World.” The four-day camp held at Memorial Field took its inspiration from the fact that soccer is played by over 240 million people on 6 continents.

Here’s what camp participants had to say:

“I think it’s great that the players get to know the coaches at all levels.”…“All of the coaches are encouraging and enthusiastic and treat all players with great respect and consideration no matter their skill level.”…“The goalie clinic was fantastic”…“I enjoyed learning how to become a better soccer player, interacting with the coaches and looked forward to each day for the social aspect of the camp.”…“Thank you to the coaches for all your dedication to the soccer players of North Haven.”
