Rep. Dave Yaccarino (center), Sen. Len Fasano (Right) on June 13 hosted a Legislative Update and BBQ at McDonald’s. The lawmakers supported an alternative state budget plan which included no new taxes, provided property tax relief, and restored funding the governor and legislative Democrats cut from cuts to towns, schools, seniors, and Connecticut’s most vulnerable residents. Unfortunately, their plan was not approved. Yaccarino and Fasano discussed their continuing efforts to put Connecticut’s finances on a sustainable path, answered taxpayers’ questions and urged the public to contact them on any issue.
