State Slates Hearing on Closing of North Haven Nursing Home

NORTH HAVEN — Medicaid and Medicare reimbursement issues have caused a problem for the bottom line at a local nursing home that plans to close.

The administrator of Clintonville Manor, Melissa Simonetti, notified the state Department of Social Services of the intention to close earlier this month. The state will conduct a public hearing on the request at 10 a.m. Jan. 3 at the home, 201 Clintonville Road.
