North Haven residents can count on NHTV for coverage of all of the 2009 political events leading up to the November 3rd election. The Hamden-North Haven League of Women Voters 2009 Debate featuring the candidates for First Selectman in North Haven, took place October 7th at the NHTV studios. Incumbent Janet McCarty (D), and challenger and current Third Selectman Mike Freda, (R), participated in this all-important event. Longtime Connecticut television broadcast veteran Kenn Venit moderated the event. The debate will be airing on NHTV2 Cable 20 at various time through election day.
